Phuket is known
as the 'Pearl of the Andaman, Thailand' is an amazing tourist destination well-known
one of the world’s most famous and popular island holiday destinations. Located
on the southern Thailand, approximately 862 kilometers south of Bangkok, easy
reachable from Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and
Koh Samui. The
island is connected to mainland Thailand by a bridge. It is situated off the
west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea.
Phuket is an ideal base from which to explore the Andaman region. Many boats leave Phuket for trips around Phang Nga Bay, with its impossibly sheer limestone outcrops that rise out of the sea, many caves and odd shaped islands.

The best time to visit Phuket are between November to April, when it is possible to see the clear blue sky, feel the fresh sea breeze and marvel at the crystal clear water. The rainy season on Phuket is during the summer from May to October. The high season is from November until the end of April, the low season in Phuket is during the summer from May until the end of October. Average temperatures ranges between 23°C and 33°C.
Patong is the largest beach resort on the island of Phuket which offers numerous leisure, sporting, shopping and recreational options along its 3-kilometre long crescent bay. Windsurfing, snorkelling, sailing, swimming and sunbathing number among the many popular daytime activities. Patong is equally well known for its vibrant nightlife, among which seafood restaurants feature prominently.

Located approximately 17 kilometers from Phuket City are Kata Noi and Kata Yai Beaches. Both are renowned for snorkeling to see the coral, tropical fishes and the seas eco-system. Also worth visiting is Ko Pu, a small uninhabited island located off Laem Sai. Most visitors find snorkeling along the islands rich coral reef enjoyable. Diverse beach activities are available on both beaches.
